Tommy Ruff
The type of fish that I caught was a Tommy ruff. I caught it at Robe (S.A) in the harbour on the 16.8.08. My mum and dad where with me when I caught it. I was going to show my mum how I cast out and when I wound up my line there was a tommy ruff! I was soooo proud of myself, it was the catch of the day!

Port Jackson Shark
This is my first Port Jackson shark catch in a crab net at Brighton Jetty on Saturday 12th April. We spent the day fishing for crabs, silver whiting and tommies.

Blue Swimmer Crab This is one of twelve I caught with my Dad in Port Stephens on our first ever time crabbing. We put five nets in the water using Mullet for bait and caught one on each net each time we pulled them up. Im definitely hooked they are tricky to get out of the net but that's what my Dad is for.

I was so proud and I have now promised to try and catch some for my Gandad Brian who lives in Katanning.

I caught this fish all by myself when I was fishing with Dad on 18th Dec 07 at North Haven, SA.
Dad said the fish was too small so we put it back into the water so it could grow bigger. We didn't know what type of fish it was.
I am going fishing again, this time at 3 O'Clock in the morning when it's high tide so we can catch more bigger fish!

Dillon Aged 2
Yellowfin Bream caught on the 9th October 2007 @ 5pm. While holidaying in Bundaberg, Dillon pulled this nice little Bream.
Dad assisted but Dillon reeled it all the way in.On a Shakespeare rod and Shimano slade bought from Got One Niddrie.
Just to be out done by cousin Logan (4 years) when he pulled in a 36cm Bream, not his first fish.

Mitchell Symes Aged 4
Caught at Corroboree on Sat 29 Sep. No idea on the weight but it was just under 40cm. Caught on the lure you can see. Not what he was after but he loves catching fish just the same.
He managed a nice tarpon and 3 catties as well.
This is not his first fish but it is the first he has caught on his own. He has caught 2 stripeys before that he still talks about.

On Saturday we thought we would go fishing at
lake
Barrington
to try out our new boat and give it a run.
The week before I went in to Stratton's to buy some lurers and was told to use a Tassie devil bull frog and I would do all right.
When we got to
Barrington
and put the boat in it was overcast and looked liked it would rain.
So we trolled up the lake from the rowing course end and did no good,so we puled in to have some lunch and I asked dad could I do some spinning and he said yes.
So I went to the tackle box and got my new bull frog lure two cast later I had a fish on I called out to dad to come quick, he could no believe his eyes as I handed him my rod as I could not wind any longer It was a Atlantic salmon the biggest fish I have ever caught we landed it with a net it all most weighed 10 pound.
My dad hasn't even caught a fish that big and do I let him know.

Flathead - 50cm, weighing 1kg! I caught my first fish when it was my fist time in Port Phillip Bay Victoria. Caleb was fishing just out from the Patterson river with his dad.
