James (Jim) Bond Snr

A keen fisherman since childhood (some time ago now), Jim has mainly focused on land based fishing, concentrating on beach and rock fishing. Jim has fished in most areas around the state, but mostly in the South East and Western Victoria whilst resident in Mt Gambier and Portland. and has also spent a good deal of time in boats on the West Coast whilst going to school in Whyalla. Nowadays Jim can best be described as a frustrated fisherman who is intent on making it a priority to spend more time fishing rather than talking about it. 

Christian Faulkner

Christian is a fishing "tragic" who is considered by his peers to have an extensive unmatched knowledge of metropolitan and near country fishing areas. He studies all aspects of fishing and has a vast knowledge on the appropriate products, bait, tackle and rigs for most types of recreational fishing. Christian is a great source of knowledge and experience that we value as much as our customers do.

James is also a keen but frustrated fisherman who enjoys fishing the "Onk" and local environs when sporting, Uni and work commitments permit. James is also a keen student of the business and is increasing his knowledge of the products and tackle and their applications. James is keen to develop greater experience and knowledge of beach and rock fishing around the local and near country locations. 

Daryl Evans (Son in Law)

Daryl is a recent fishing convert who manages to go fishing more often than most of the rest of us. Daryl has become a recent addict to lure fishing and is developing the use of soft plastics and hard bodies in the local environment. Daryl works in the store when family and his other work commitments allow (usually Sunday's) and also assists with store presentation and promotions. 

Shane Murton

Shane is a well known and highly respected fishing journalist, who, it is fair to say, we have been fortunate to gain the benefit of his experience and services. Shane has written articles for national and state based fishing magazines as well as producing and featuring in his own fishing videos, (all of which are available at our store). Shane has lived on Kangaroo Island and the West Coast and has fished most of the well known and not so well known spots in both areas. As a result Shane is a great source of knowledge not only for those venturing to these areas but also on all types of angling from fly fishing through to light game.
